The EEO-1 filing window has shifted from year to year, so covered employers need clean data and a plan to upload it on time. This 90-minute EEO-1 reporting webinar explains how to prepare and file.

EEOC and OFCCP regulations require eligible employers to file Standard Form 100, the EEO-1 report, each year through the EEOC's dedicated website for Component 1 data. The EEOC uses the data to support enforcement, research employment patterns and encourage employers to assess themselves, and some companies also publish their demographic data voluntarily.

You'll learn who must file, which categories to use, how to use the Online Filing System and what federal contractors must do to avoid penalties.

  • Determine whether your organization must file an EEO-1 report
  • Use the correct categories to complete the EEO-1 form
  • Handle reporting questions for transgender employees
  • File through the EEOC's Online Filing System
  • Meet federal contractor requirements and avoid penalties
  • Understand how companies are selected for report reviews and how to avoid one

  • Who must complete the EEO-1 report
  • The categories for completing the EEO-1 form correctly
  • How to handle reporting for transgender employees
  • Using the EEOC's EEO-1 Online Filing System (OFS)
  • Federal contractor requirements and the penalties they risk
  • Which companies have been selected for report reviews
  • What companies can do to avoid having their reports reviewed
  • OFCCP release of EEO-1 Type 2 data under FOIA

The EEOC typically gives employers only about a month to upload Component 1 data. If you miss it, the EEOC can seek a court order to compel compliance, and federal contractors risk losing contracts and being debarred. Willfully false statements on an EEO-1 report can bring fines or imprisonment, and OFCCP has released contractors' EEO-1 Type 2 data in response to FOIA requests.

The session suits employers required to file, OFCCP federal contractors with 50 or more employees, leaders, compliance and HR professionals, managers and supervisors.
