Negative behavior left unchecked spreads, and complaints handled poorly create more conflict, hurt productivity and make the workplace unpredictable. This 90-minute corrective feedback training introduces the CARE model for addressing problems with timely action, tact and strong communication.

The issues range from offensive language, constant criticism and tardiness to personal hygiene, inappropriate clothing, religious or political opinions, poor performance and people who ignore their impact on colleagues or customers.

You'll learn to notice when you start losing control, how the snowball effect of negativity works, how to read body language, and what causes workplace dysfunction. The session goes beyond the familiar sandwich model with leadership styles that build trust, three core relationship strategies, eight communication principles and ten measures for CARE-ing.

  • Explain the snowball effect of uncontrolled negativity
  • Read body language to understand what is really going on
  • Identify the causes of workplace dysfunction and correct them
